Man Released From Prison After 44 years Experiences What It Is Like To Travel To The Future

After being locked up in jail for 44 years, Otis Johnson was finally released and was stunned to see how society has changed since the last time he saw it.

Johnson was just 25 years old when he was sentenced to 44 years in prison. The man was locked up in 1971 and took his first steps outside a jail cell just this year. He was dropped off at Times Square and he could not believe what he was seeing.

The idea of cellphones was new to him and he found it mind boggling that people rarely used pay phones.
Johnson says that the use of bluetooth headsets made everyone look like they were in the CIA. And he was surprised that people were able to walk without looking where they were going.
He reveals that he was sent to prison for assault and attempted murder on a police officer. His time in the slammer allowed him to change his perspective on a lot of things.
But because he has missed a lot of things, the transition has not been easy for him. Hopefully he’ll be able to adapt to this new environment.
